Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Indian Military Academy (IMA): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

  • Indian Naval Academy (INA): Degree in Engineering from a recognized university/institution.

  • Air Force Academy (AFA): Bachelor’s degree (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or a Bachelor of Engineering.

  • Officers’ Training Academy (OTA): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Age Limit

  • IMA: Born between 2nd January 2001 and 1st January 2006.

  • INA: Born between 2nd January 2001 and 1st January 2006.

  • AFA: Born between 2nd January 2001 and 1st January 2005.

  • OTA:

    • For Men: Born between 2nd January 2001 and 1st January 2006.

    • For Women: Born between 2nd January 2001 and 1st January 2006.

Application Process

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to www.upsc.gov.in.

  2. Register: Click on “Apply Online” under the CDS I 2025 Examination section.

  3. Fill the Application Form: Complete the form with personal, academic, and contact details.

  4. Upload Documents:

    • Scanned Passport Size Photograph

    • Scanned Signature

    • Identity Proof (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)

  5. Pay the Application Fee: Use online payment methods to pay the fee:

    • General/OBC: ₹200

    • SC/ST/Female Candidates: Exempted

  6. Submit the Form: Verify all details and submit the application.

Exam Pattern

Written Exam Structure:

  • For IMA, INA, and AFA:

    • English: 100 Marks

    • General Knowledge: 100 Marks

    • Elementary Mathematics: 100 Marks

    • Duration: 2 hours for each subject.

  • For OTA:

    • English: 100 Marks

    • General Knowledge: 100 Marks

    • Duration: 2 hours for each subject.

SSB Interview:

  • Total Marks: 300 for IMA, INA, and AFA; 200 for OTA.

  • Includes psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interviews.

Admit Card

  • The admit card will be available approximately three weeks before the exam. Download it from the UPSC website.

Result Declaration

  • Results will be declared in two stages: the written test results and the final merit list after the SSB Interview.
